Brad Brod is a partner based in the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. He is a member of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group and its Financial Services Regulatory and Enforcement Practice. Brad has extensive experience representing clients in complex commercial litigation and regulatory matters, including securities fraud, antitrust, and consumer protection. He has also represented clients in a variety of government investigations and enforcement actions, including those brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the New York Attorney General's Office.

Brad's recent representations include:

• Represented a major investment bank in a securities fraud class action alleging misrepresentations in the sale of residential mortgage-backed securities.
• Represented a private equity firm in an antitrust investigation by the DOJ.
• Represented a consumer products company in a consumer protection investigation by the New York Attorney General's Office.

Brad is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. He is a member of the New York Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Brad is also a frequent speaker and author on topics related to litigation and regulatory compliance.
